Superstars rule the NBA and to win a championship, you need to have one that can take over a game (or a playoff series) on any given night. What you have to love about the Brooklyn Nets the most is that this is not a team that has one of those superstars, but they have two of them.

Out of all the top contenders in the league right now, I’m not sure there’s a team out there with a better 1-2 punch than Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They are two players that, when healthy, can absolutely dominate a seven-game series.

And if they have the proper supporting cast, this is absolutely a team you do not want to see in the playoffs. And with the way this team has played, they’re a team that no one is going to want to see (if they can remain healthy) in June.

There’s still plenty of season remaining. But the Brooklyn Nets are no longer a question mark. They’re the real deal. This is a team that is looking more and more like they should be the favorite to win the East. And possibly the whole thing.
