NBA Trade Rumors: 3 teams that would greatly benefit from Alex Caruso

Somewhat ironically, the Los Angeles Lakers would be an excellent fit for Alex Caruso. And he’s the type of player that the Lakers could be targeting if they don’t want to go all-in with a huge move at the NBA Trade Deadline. Caruso will likely be a cheaper option than the likes of Myles Turner and Buddy Hield. He’d also be familiar with the team’s core.

There wouldn’t be a huge on-court transition process and would offer an upgrade at the guard position. If they wanted, they could start him and still bring Russell Westbrook (assuming he’s still on the roster) off the bench.

At this point, it would be somewhat shocking if the Lakers made a big trade. It’s kind of too late for that type of move for Los Angeles. But, if they still wanted to make a move at the trade deadline, Caruso is a player to certainly watch.
