Miami Heat
Similar to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat is a team that will likely be seeking a smaller type of deal at the NBA Trade Deadline. Considering the uncertainty that revolves around Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo, and Jimmy Butler and their injury history, it would not be surprising if they tried to make a move for some guard depth.
Alex Caruso is a plausible trade target for the Heat. He’s a player that will add toughness and defensive ability to the backcourt (with the team desperately needs) and adds experience that this team sometimes lacks.
For as good as Gabe Vincent is at times for the Heat, I feel like Caruso would add an element of experience that he simply doesn’t have. And that could prove valuable in a push toward the playoffs for this team.
I’m not sure if the Heat will prioritize a guard at the trade deadline but they’re a team that should absolutely be interested in Caruso if he is indeed available.
