Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are another team that perhaps didn’t enter the season with high expectations, but they did have some hope that this team would be able to take a step forward after the acquisition of Dejounte Murray. But after a solid start to the season, the Hawks have hit a rough spot. They’re just 4-10 in their last 14 games and have fallen to 9th in the Eastern Conference standings.

And they’re just one game away from being 12th. The Hawks can’t feel comfortable about where they are at the moment and would greatly benefit from making a move at the NBA Trade Deadline that could perhaps catapult them up the standings. However, I’m not sure there’s a clear move to be made.

Plus, the Hawks making a big move at the trade deadline becomes so much more difficult considering what they gave up in the move for Murray. The Hawks are certainly a team to watch and there’s no question that they could very much benefit from some sort of roster shakeup at the trade deadline.
