NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring six teams that are an NBA Trade Deadline move away from breaking through into contender status.

Looking at the NBA landscape, you can make the argument that there are currently four or five teams that are considered legit championship contenders through roughly the first half of the 2022-23 season.

Those teams are the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets, and possibly the Memphis Grizzlies. After that, there are many teams that are still very much in the air.
