NBA Trade Rumors: 6 teams one deadline move away from contender status

As much as I want to believe in their hot start to the season, the last few weeks of Phoenix Suns basketball has me really concerned about this team. They’ve fallen outside the six in the Western Conference standings and I’m not really sure what evidence there is that they’re going to be better at any point during the second half of the season. Maybe health?
But even that is not a given and Chris Paul has been quite inefficient so far this season and his age is a red flag that should have this fan base concerned heading into the postseason (if they even get there). Though, the Suns could legitimize not only their postseason chances but also their championship chances by making a move at the NBA Trade Deadline.

If the Suns really believe they can win a championship with this core, they should prove that by making a move at the trade deadline. And if they add one more strong contributor, this is a team that, if they can click before the start of the playoffs, can truly make some noise in the Western Conference.
