NBA: Mid-season playoff seeding predictions for the East and West

2. Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic has been sensational this season for the Denver Nuggets and he’s the biggest reason why they are currently sitting at the top of the standings. That said, there are still going to be plenty of doubters surrounding this team heading into the second half of the season. And probably understandably so.

But as long as their trio of Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. can remain healthy, the Nuggets will probably enter the playoffs as a top 3 seed. I predict that they will finish in second, behind the Grizzlies.

And once they get to the postseason, they’ll have as good of a chance as any other team in the conference to represent the West in the NBA Finals.
