4. Golden State Warriors

There are plenty of people that are already counting out the Golden State Warriors. And perhaps rightfully so. However, I believe that this is a team that will begin to play its best basketball of the season heading into the second half of the season. Whether they can get back to a championship level remains to be seen, but I have a hard time believing we’ve already seen the best of this team this season.

Once Stephen Curry returns, the Warriors will have to find their footing fast. And as this team gets healthy, I believe that they will. They may be on a championship hangover but they will soon sober up fast. They’ll have to if they want any chance to repeat as champions.

Maybe I’m a bit naive, but I still believe that the Warriors could end up winning the championship again this season. And if so, it will all start as the fourth seed heading into the playoffs.
