7. New York Knicks
Over the last month and a half, it seems that the New York Knicks have begun to hit their stride. It remains to be seen if this is simply a hot streak or if there is some sustainability, but this is a team that is trending in the right direction as the midway point of the season approaches.
Right now, the Knicks are currently in the sixth seed of the conference but I believe that they’ll fall back to seventh before the end of the season. That doesn’t mean the team will take a step back but that perhaps there are other teams that are better equipped for the stretch run.
If the Knicks make a tangible move at the NBA Trade Deadline that could perhaps change some things. However, I don’t really see this team making that impactful of a move. This is a good core but they still have plenty of work to do heading into the latter portion of the season.
