8. Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are an interesting team to watch over the course of the next few weeks and it’s almost impossible to predict what they will end up doing at the NBA Trade Deadline. The expectation is that they will move one or both Buddy Hield and Myles Turner at the deadline. I’m still not buying it.

I believe that the Pacers’ success through the first half of this season will prompt them to not be complete sellers at the deadline. They may trade one of Hield or Turner, but not both. I believe that this team thinks it is on the right track, and they might be.

The Pacers have too much talent and are too cohesive of a unit at this point to not make the playoffs in the East. They will have to play their way in to do so but will have two games to clinch a spot.
