NBA Trade Rumors: 4 teams that should take a gamble on Tim Hardaway Jr.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are another team to keep an eye on when it comes to a potential guard swap. The word on the streets is that the Wolves are open to moving D’Angelo Russell at the NBA Trade Deadline. Two questions here: Would the Dallas Mavericks be interested in Russ as a running mate next to Luka Doncic and would the Wolves be open to adding Hardaway?

If the answer to those questions is, yes, or even maybe, this is something that both teams should pursue. The Wolves are stuck and trying to find their footing and clearly need a slight adjustment (at the very least) at the deadline. The Mavs need to find the right piece next to Luka.

Hardaway would get a fresh start in Minnesota while playing next to a talented young core that simply hasn’t hit its stride this season. Russ would also get a fresh start by playing next to one of the best players in the NBA. Maybe that would spark him?
