New York Knicks
In their last 18 games, the New York Knicks are 12-6. They’ve played much better as of late and it’s not out of the realm of possibility that this team could end up as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. If that is indeed the goal (or higher) for the Knicks, making a move at the NBA Trade Deadline should be viewed as a priority.
And one player that the team could target at the deadline is Gary Trent Jr. He’s an expiring contract and could come in and start at the shooting guard position. His offensive prowess could help take some of the pressure off of RJ Barrett, who at times this season has struggled on that end of the floor.
If there’s anything we know about the Knicks it’s that they will be able to afford nearly any player on the trade block. The question is, do they want to spend an asset on Trent?
