Trade target: Jakob Poeltl, C, San Antonio Spurs

The Boston Celtics have looked like actual world-beaters for the majority of the season. Though, they’re also a team that should look to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline. They don’t have many, if any, holes on their roster. But if they do have a weakness, it’s probably in the frontcourt.

Considering Robert Williams’ injury history, it’s probably safe to say they’re going to try to solidify the center position heading into the playoffs. One player that could make sense for the Celtics is Jakob Poeltl.

Who knows if the San Antonio Spurs end up moving him at the trade deadline, but if they do the Celtics should absolutely be one of the teams interested. This is a team that should be all-in on winning a title this season and making a move for Poeltl would signify that. He also may be the piece that eliminates all potential weaknesses on the roster for the Celtics heading into the playoffs.
