New Orleans Pelicans

Trade target: Mo Bamba, C, Orlando Magic

The New Orleans Pelicans have quietly been one of the better stories in the Western Conference this season. It finally appears that their potential is finally coming together and the team has played like a top 3 team in the conference through the first half of the season. They must survive without Zion Williamson for a while, but there is hope this team could make some noise in the postseason.

And making a move at the NBA Trade Deadline could go a long way in that happening this season. One area where the Pelicans could look to sure up is the frontcourt. Adding some depth to the power forward or center position ahead of the deadline could help this team down the stretch.

Mo Bamba would be an intriguing name to keep an eye on. He offers a level of rim protection that the team currently doesn’t have on their roster and could help with their depth heading into the postseason.
