Trade target: P.J. Washington, F, Charlotte Hornets

Winners of eight-straight, the Memphis Grizzlies are one of the hottest (and most consistent) teams in the league right now. And this is a team that is far more than just Ja Morant, even though he generally gets all the headlines. One player that they should explore targeting at the NBA Trade Deadline is P.J. Washington.

Washington would add some depth to this team’s frontcourt and give them another player that they could turn to in a postseason series. Of course, it’s likely going to take some negotiating to pry him away from the Charlotte Hornets, but he’s a player that they should be open to moving ahead of the trade deadline.

If the Grizzlies can add one more quality player to their roster before the playoffs, it would solidify their chances of making a championship run. There’s an argument to be made that this may finally be the Grizzlies’ year. It will be exciting to see how it all pans out for this young team in the postseason.
