The New York Knicks trade Julius Randle

After his first year in New York in which he helped lead the team to reach the playoffs, Julius Randle has struggled to reach those heights again. However, it appears that he’s finally playing better as of late this season in New York. That could open the opportunity for a potential trade of Randle.

For as good as Randle has been recently for the Knicks, he’s realistically not part of the team’s long-term plans. And if the Knicks don’t move on from him now, they will likely try to in the near future. If they can sell high on him, they should.

And even though Randle isn’t considered to be a great fit for the Knicks, that doesn’t mean he can’t play a big role for another team that is trying to take the next step in their respective build. If the Knicks can find a way to trade Randle, it could have an impact on more levels than one.
