The Atlanta Hawks trading John Collins

The Atlanta Hawks have not been successful in hitting their stride so far this season and something has to eventually give. There’s somewhat of a restructuring going on in the Hawks’ front office and you can’t help but wonder if that will impact how the team approaches the NBA Trade Deadline.

Regardless, there’s been one constant for the team over the last few months. And it’s that the team remains open to trading John Collins. They attempted to do so during the offseason but ultimately decided against a move. It appears they are trending toward that same possibility at this year’s deadline.

If the Hawks were to trade Collins, it would absolutely be a huge deal. Even though Collins hasn’t been the player that many thought he could be over the last two seasons, he’s still a very talented young player. A fresh start may be exactly what he needs to get his career back on track.
