NBA Trade Rumors: 5 best possible landing spots for Rui Hachimura

For any quality player that becomes available at the trade deadline, the Dallas Mavericks should be available. That’s a pretty fair estimate to make. Even more so if you believe the recent report surrounding the Mavs ahead of the trade deadline. The Mavs need to improve their roster at the deadline and Hachimura should be an option.

He’s not a dynamic star, the likes of which the Mavs should be searching for Luka, but Hachimura is a productive young wing that is still improving as a player. It’s unlikely that he’s played the best basketball of his career, at the age of 24, and would very much benefit from playing next to a player as talented as Luka.

Where it possibly gets complicated is surrounding a possible asking price. I’m not sure if that’s known at this point, but you’d have to imagine that a first-round pick is likely a given, and then probably a young player.

Whatever it is, the Mavs should at least make a phone call.
