The Los Angeles Lakers are another team that should be on the phone with any team that is shopping a high-quality player. Rui Hachimura falls under that category. Now that Anthony Davis (when he returns from injury) is playing more of the center position, Hachimura could be an intriguing option for the team at the power forward position.

He’s young enough that the Lakers would be also investing in the future while also improving this year’s team. Hachimura would give the Lakers another consistent player in the frontcourt and take some of the pressure off of both LeBron James and AD down the stretch.

If there’s one thing that the Lakers need, it’s that. Could the Lakers get a deal done for one of their future first-round picks and one of their bench contributors? If that’s something the Wizards would accept, it’s certainly an offer that Los Angeles should consider.
