Over the last few weeks, the LA Clippers have been largely linked to Myles Turner. He has emerged as an NBA Trade Deadline target for the team and would be a huge addition heading into the push toward the playoffs. The Clippers have expectedly been inconsistent through the first half of the season.

Most of that has been due to health. In the second half of the season, they’re one of the teams in the Western Conference that many will be keeping an eye on. They were expected to be a contender and they haven’t been that so far this season. Though, it should be noted that they’re still within shouting distance of a top 3 seed in the conference.

Making a big move at the trade deadline could go a long way in solidifying this team’s place amongst possible contenders heading into the playoffs. They need help in the frontcourt and there may not be a better option than Myles Turner. The Clippers need to get in line as he’s expected to be a hot commodity at the trade deadline.
