Trade target: Caris LeVert, Cleveland Cavaliers

The Portland Trail Blazers added Jerami Grant during the offseason in hopes of the team taking the next step in the Western Conference. While they got off to a great start to the season, the team has really struggled over the last month or so. One trade target that could pique the Blazers’ interest is Caris LeVert.

LeVert is averaging 36 percent shooting from 3-point range so far this season. He could be a wing target for the Blazers, who are in need of some added depth at the position. He may not be an ideal target, but likely one that could be had for fairly cheap. If the Blazers want to add a wing with scoring capability, LeVert could be a fit.

With the Blazers quickly falling down the standings in the Western Conference, this is a team that clearly needs to make a move. Whether or not they will end up doing one remains to be seen. But it’s clear that this season is slowly falling sideways.
