As the NBA Trade Deadline quickly approaches, the whispers surrounding the Toronto Raptors making a big move continue to rise. While that remains to be seen, there are definitely several different scenarios that could play out for the Raptors over the course of the next few weeks.
If they do end up making a move in an attempt to improve the roster, there is one name that they have been linked to – Jakob Poeltl. If the Raptors do make a move to improve their frontcourt, Poeltl would be a solid addition.
The Raptors would be able to slide Pascal Siakam to the power forward position and start Poeltl. And if they want, they could also sign him to a long-term contract. And you’d imagine if they do make a move for Poeltl, that they would want to re-sign him during the offseason.
