NBA Trade Rumors: One realistic trade target for every team heading into the deadline

Trade target: Rui Hachimura, Washington Wizards 

The Charlotte Hornets should not be buyers at the NBA Trade Deadline but if there is a young player out there that could theoretically help their build, that’s who the team should be pursuing. And I believe there could be one that would make sense for the team – Rui Hachimura.

Hachimura has been hot and cold throughout the first few years of his career but has proven to be a productive player. While his time in Washington may be coming to an end, I wouldn’t entirely call his time with the team a failure.

He’s evolved during the first few years of his career and has shown signs of improvement. However, because of Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma, he’s been somewhat pushed out of Washington.

Charlotte could be an interesting landing spot for Hachimura and could give him a fresh start to his career.
