Chicago Bulls
Trade target: Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers
The Chicago Bulls should be viewed as a dark horse potential landing spot for Myles Turner. And as we inch closer and closer to the trade deadline, the Bulls should explore making a move for him if he doesn’t agree to a contract extension with the Indiana Pacers.
If the Bulls don’t want to punt on the core of Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Zach LaVine, they might as well lean all the way into this current build and try to add another complementary piece. Turner would make sense on multiple fronts.
He could add some offensive production at the center position and would offer defensive capabilities and impact that, frankly put, Nikola Vucevic never did for this team. Turner would be an immediate upgrade and would help this team take another step forward.
Would adding Turner solve everything for the Bulls, I’m not sure. But if they don’t want to rebuild, it’s worth a shot.
