Trade target: Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets 

The Denver Nuggets have quietly been the best and most consistent team in the Western Conference this season. It’s really tough to say what exactly the Nuggets may end up doing at the NBA Trade Deadline, but adding some insurance to the backcourt could go a long way in helping this team take the next step as a contender.

One potential target for the Nuggets heading into the trade deadline could be Eric Gordon. He’s a player that would add a veteran presence and could solidify the team’s bench and protect the team’s depth from a potential injury.

This could finally be the year that the Nuggets breakthrough in the West and it would be quite unfortunate to see their season tank due to depth issues. Adding a player such as Gordon would help on that front.
