Through the first half (and then some) of the season, the Memphis Grizzlies have quickly emerged as arguably the best team in the Western Conference. That’s not something they should take for granted, especially as they continue to come to realize just how difficult it is to win in the playoffs.

In what is being described as a wide-open Western Conference this season, this is the time when the Grizzlies should be aggressive (and not complacent). Memphis has gotten off to a great start to the season, but they should not simply trust what they already have on their roster. Their great start to the year should fuel their aggressiveness at the deadline.

The Grizzlies should be all-in on their potential and part of doing that and trusting their core is by adding to it ahead of the stretch run. Memphis making an aggressive move at the deadline would allow this team to really take a stranglehold in the West heading into the playoffs.
