If the Charlotte Hornets are going to be sellers at the NBA Trade Deadline, there’s one player on their roster that is being somewhat overlooked as a possible NBA Trade Deadline candidate. And that’s Jalen McDaniels.

We’ve heard teams interested in the likes of Terry Rozier and P.J. Washington, the bigger names on the team’s roster. However, you can make an argument for McDaniels as a target. Especially with how he’s improved as a player over the last few seasons.

McDaniels is having a career year in which he’s averaging 11 points and five rebounds on 46 percent shooting from the field. He’s athletic, dynamic, can stretch the floor from the outside, and is still just hitting his stride as the player he can be in the NBA.

If there’s a team looking for some versatility in the frontcourt, Daniels should absolutely be a deadline target.
