Caris LeVert, Cleveland Cavaliers
For as dynamic of offensive players as Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell, especially with the ball in their hands, the need for Caris LeVert has slowly dwindled recently. So much so that the Cleveland Cavaliers have been rumored to want to flip him for a defensive wing.
Even though the LeVert experiment hasn’t exactly worked out in Cleveland, that doesn’t mean he’s not a valuable player anymore. If there’s a team that’s looking for some scoring punch off the bench, LeVert may be the ideal deadline target.
Despite a “down season for his standards, LeVert is still averaging 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. Cleveland may feel they’re ready to move on from LeVert, but he could fill a valuable role for a playoff team during the second half of the season.
