Breaking down a proposed trade that would effectively give the Miami Heat a fighting chance in the Eastern Conference heading into the playoffs.

Considering the success that the Miami Heat enjoyed last season, it’s difficult to look at where they are at this point in the regular season and be content with the team. It’s pretty clear to see that the Heat needs to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline and, quite frankly, it would be surprising if one didn’t come.

However, that is easier said than done. Especially with how the Heat’s cap sheet currently stands. But there will be options for the team heading into next week’s deadline.
