NBA Trade Rumors: Predicting 5 players that will headline deadline week

At this point, I can’t get a sure handle on what the Atlanta Hawks will ultimately do with John Collins. All I know is that there’s at least a small chance that the team elects to trade him at the deadline and that there are teams interested if the price is low enough.

We don’t really know what the Hawks are asking for and that brings about the biggest questions for the team heading into the deadline. Even though Collins has struggled with his game over the past two seasons, he’s still a player that is extremely young and has the raw talent where he could still have a career revival.

If I were a team that is looking to improve through unique circumstances (especially if they don’t consider themselves a free-agency destination), making move for Collins (or taking a chance on him) would make a lot of sense.

And if the Hawks do trade Collins, the return would be interesting to break down and it would give us a clearer indication of what we could expect from this team during the second half of the season.
