A sudden and unexpected trade demand from Kyrie Irving has turned the NBA upside down. And the Brooklyn Nets are, once again, left trying to pick up the pieces. And with just a handful of days left before the NBA Trade Deadline, the Nets don’t have much time to figure out what’s next for the franchise.

There are plenty of questions that need to be answered and, quite frankly, I’m not sure what the best path forward for the Nets is. But this is the bed that the Nets made for themselves when they decided to go all-in on the Kyrie Irving-Kevin Durant duo a few offseasons ago.

One thing is for sure, all eyes are now on the Nets. Teams will begin submitting trade offers not only for Kyrie but (you’d have to imagine) also for Kevin Durant. Before the Nets do anything though, they have to figure out how this all impacts Durant. And, quite frankly, that may be the biggest question stemming from this news bomb.
