3. OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors

OG Anunoby has been the most talked about player in the trade market and it makes sense. He is young, very talented, and could provide immediate help to any contending team. Also, the team he’s currently on, the Toronto Raptors, are in the midst of a very disappointing season.

The Raptors are six games below .500 (24-30) and are 8-10 since the calendar switched over to 2023. Despite having an abundance of talent including OG, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and Gary Trent Jr., and more, the Raptors just haven’t been able to put it all together.

Masai Ujiri and the Raptors’ front office may decide to deal some of if not all of their key pieces and OG is at the top of that list.

During an episode of the #this league uncut podcast with Marc Stein and Chris Haynes, Hayes said that Anunoby “would like a change of scenery,” adding that “management knows how he feels.”

The Memphis Grizzlies, the Miami Heat, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Phoenix Suns, and the Portland Trailblazers have all been linked to the 23-year-old forward.

The fifth-year pro was recently held out of the Raptors’ current road trip which lasts until Sunday, Kayla Grey of TSN reports. An Anunoby deal seems likely and could happen very soon.
