NBA Trade Rumors: Predicting where the top 20 deadline candidates will land

10. Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets

It’s almost as if every season Eric Gordon is one of those players that is rumored to be available at the NBA trade deadline and then all of a sudden he is not moved, and instead kept by the Houston Rockets.

I believe that this will finally be the year that it will be different. Gordon is very much available even though he comes with a lofty asking price. But he’s still a valuable productive player at this point of his career. And because of that, I do believe that there’s going to be a team that perhaps doesn’t get one of the top trade targets and decides to circle back to try to acquire Gordon from the Rockets.

I believe that he will be traded to the Phoenix Suns who happen to be one of the more aggressive teams heading into the NBA Trade Deadline.

Prediction: He is traded to the Phoenix Suns.
