The San Antonio Spurs, at least in my opinion, is an interesting team to keep an eye on heading into the NBA trade deadline. They have more than a few players that could be an asset to another team heading to the second half of the season and into the playoffs.

Whether or not they end up trading any of those players remains to be seen and it would seem that they would have high asking prices for their productive veterans. That said, I don’t think the Spurs are going to not make unwise decisions heading into the deadline.

This is a team that is still rebuilding and could use every last asset that they could get a hold of. Because of that, I do believe that the Spurs are going to make at least a couple of moves at the NBA trade deadline.

Of them will include trading Josh Richardson to the Milwaukee Bucks. I believe this is a move that makes a lot of sense for both sides and would be beneficial for Richardson at this point in his career.

Prediction: He is traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
