8. Caris LeVert, Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that likely wants to make a move ahead of the NBA trade deadline in an attempt to keep pace with the rest of the conference. The Cavs seem to be a year away from being a true championship contender in the East, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t make a surprisingly deep run in the playoffs this year.
Especially if Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland continue to play at a high-level heading into the playoffs. That said, finding the right player will truly be difficult for this team. I’m not really sure what exactly the Cavs are going to prioritize heading into the trade deadline but I do know that they need to find and add depth to the wing spot.
Whatever move they make, it will likely cost Caris LeVert. Levert has had an interesting career but simply hasn’t been as productive of a player during his tenure in Cleveland. I think it’s probably in the best interest of both sides to move on from each other. I believe that LeVert will be traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
Prediction: He is traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
