6. Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers

It has quickly become clear that the Indiana Pacers fully intend to try to make the playoffs during the second half of the season. Shortly after their surprisingly strong start to the season, they were many questions wondering whether or not this team was going to move forward with a retooling at the trade deadline. I think we have the answer to that question now.

Once Myles Turner was signed to his extension, it became clear. Now all eyes are on Buddy Hield. He could be moved over the next few days but I don’t think the offers would be worth it at this point for Indiana.

Instead, I believe that the Pacers are going to wait until the offseason or perhaps until next year’s NBA Trade Deadline to try to trade him. Plus, he’s still a productive player that could be beneficial for the team.

Prediction: He is not traded at the deadline.
