NBA Trade Rumors: Predicting where the top 20 deadline candidates will land

20. Kelly Olynyk, Utah Jazz

At this point in his career, Kelly Olynyk is not a player that is going to receive a ton of trade interest at the deadline. However, if there is a team that is looking for frontcourt help and shooting at the same time, Olynyk is probably the best and cheapest possible option on the market.

That’s why I believe that the Miami Heat, in an attempt to upgrade their frontcourt around Bam Adebayo and two upgrade their 3-point shooting, will make Olynyk one of the targets heading into the deadline.

Of course, the Heat is likely going to pursue bigger names and better options but once those are off the table, I believe that the Heat is going to circle back to Olynyk and they will eventually complete a deal for a reunion.

Prediction: He is traded to the Miami Heat.
