NBA Trade Rumors: Predicting where the top 20 deadline candidates will land

19. Coby White, Chicago Bulls

At least in my opinion, I believe that Coby White is one of the most interesting trade deadline candidates this season. He’s still young (22 years old) but for one reason or another, he fell out of the rotation in Chicago. That likely has more to do with the Bulls’ timeline more than it does about White.

Even though White has seen a reduction in his production and overall offensive efficiency over the last couple of seasons, I believe that he is still a talented guard that deserves an opportunity to prove that he can play a valuable role for a team in this league.

Quite frankly, I don’t believe that the Bulls are the best possible spot for him to do that at this point in his career. I think that there’s going to be a team that comes along and takes a flyer on White.

He’s not going to be that expensive on the trade market and could be a player that a team takes interest in developing. I think the Oklahoma City Thunder will take a flyer on the White at the deadline.

Prediction: He’s traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
