NBA Trade Rumors: Predicting where the top 20 deadline candidates will land

15. Jarred Vanderbilt, Utah Jazz

It’s really difficult to predict what the Utah Jazz is going to do at the NBA Trade Deadline but there’s no question that Jarred Vanderbilt has emerged as one of the most sought-after big men over the last few weeks.

Any team that is looking for frontcourt help has probably been linked to Vanderbilt, or at the very least has put in an inquiry on what it would take to land him at the deadline.

That said, I still don’t believe that the Jazz is going to move him just for the sake of trading him. Danny Ainge is very savvy at his job and he knows how to build a team effectively. That much has been evident over the past few months in Utah.

I do believe that the Jazz wants to make a quite significant move at the deadline and I believe that they will. Part of that will be trading Vanderbilt to the Atlanta Hawks.

Prediction: He’s traded to the Atlanta Hawks.
