The Miami Heat will trade Kyle Lowry

The Miami Heat are heading into the NBA Trade Deadline in hopes of a miracle falling into their laps. It doesn’t appear as if one is coming. However, it’s becoming clear that the team should probably try and part ways with Kyle Lowry. He has not been good for the team this season and it’s hard to deny that at this point.

Even though the team is saying all the right things right now, I believe that the Heat will trade Lowry ahead of the deadline. It’s unlikely that the move would be a significant one but this is more about getting out from under Lowry’s contract moving forward and getting him off this team in hopes of inheriting addition by subtraction.

Lowry hasn’t been a locker room problem or anything like that, but he simply hasn’t had the impact on the team that perhaps many thought he would when he signed with the Heat in free agency a couple of summers ago.
