The Los Angeles Lakers will circle back and trade Russell Westbrook

Ultimately, I believe that the biggest development of the NBA Trade Deadline will be the Los Angeles Lakers circling back to trade Russell Westbrook. Without the big move for Kyrie Irving, there isn’t much the Lakers can do that would quantity as a huge difference-making move. Especially with Myles Turner and Bojan Bogdanovic off the table.

Instead, I believe that the Lakers will try to offload Westbrook in an attempt to get a point guard that fits better with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. It may not be for a star player but this is a move that could go a long way in sparking this team heading into the playoffs.
