And finally, I believe that OG Anunoby landing on the Memphis Grizzlies would make a ton of sense. He is exactly what the Grizzlies need as a potential missing piece. He’s a hard-nosed player that’s going to come in, get the job done, and push the team to limits that it hasn’t seen. He’d be a great addition defensively next to Jaren Jackson Jr., who may be the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year, and doesn’t get enough credit for how good he is on the offensive end.

If the Grizzlies wanted to make a strong offer, they could. And fairly easily. The Grizzlies could package Dillon Brooks, Ziaire Williams, and two future first-round picks to send to Toronto for Anunoby. That might be enough to pry him out of the Raptors’ hands. Especially if he’s communicating that he wants out.

The move would help the Grizzlies emerge as a legit title contender, if they’re not already considered that, and would help the Raptors get a jump-start on their impending rebuild (or retooling).
