The Phoenix Suns go all-in for Kevin Durant

The Phoenix Suns held their ground, were set on making a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline, and came away with Kevin Durant. It’s amazing that the Suns were able to pull this off considering this is a move they were aiming to get done last summer. But they finally have their man.

The Suns might be the favorite in the Western Conference now after this move. Kevin Durant is going to join an already strong team in Phoenix. Sure, they lost some of their depth but KD more than makes that up with the impact that he can have. Espeialy playing next to a palyer as dynamic as Devin Booker.

At the same time, you can’t blame the Nets here either. Once they realized the expereiment with Kyrie Irving and KD was likely over, they did their best to recoup as many assets as they could. And they did.

The Nets now have a starting point for a rebuild after recouping picks in both the deals for Kyrie and KD.
