Phoenix Suns – Winner

It’s hard not to look at what the Phoenix Suns did at the NBA Trade Deadline and not consider them one of the biggest winners. The Suns went all-in on this season, particularly with Devin Booker and Chris Paul, and put all their other chips on the table for Kevin Durant. The Suns made an offer to the Brooklyn Nets that they couldn’t refuse. And, ultimately, they didn’t.

The Suns add Durant to a core that is already quite good. The Suns now have a top 4 of KD, Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Chris Paul. Objectively, I’m not sure there’s a better top 4 than that in the Western Conference right now.

This move should put them in the driver’s seat to be one of the favorites in the West heading into the playoffs. The big question for this team will revolve around health. Can this team remain healthy during the latter portion of the season and into the playoffs?
