Reggie Jackson had a great career revival during his time with the LA Clippers but it was time to move on. And that’s exactly what the Clippers did at the NBA Trade Deadline when they traded him during their backcourt retooling.

It’s already been reported that the Charlotte Hornets and Jackson are expected to work on a buyout. Whether or not it comes to fruition remains to be seen, but it’s likely something that makes the most sense for both sides.

If Jackson does hit the buyout market, the expectation is that there will be a healthy market for him. In a reserve role, there is some value in Jackson. During his time with the Clippers this season, Jackson averaged 11 points and four assists per game on 35 percent shooting from 3-point range.

He should be able to find a soft landing spot over the next few weeks.
