12. Golden State Warriors

After rumors that the Golden State Warriors were eyeing a move for OG Anunoby, they settled for essentially trading James Wiseman. They added Gary Payton II but there’s no guarantee that he’ll even play for the team this season.

Nevertheless, if they can get healthy, this is a team that could get hot. They have the talent to win a championship. Whether or not they can put it all together is far from a certainty though.

11. New Orleans Pelicans

Many believed that the New Orleans Pelicans were a team that could make a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline. In the end, they made a small move for Josh Richardson. Still, if they can get healthy during the push toward the playoffs, this is a team that could present some problems for some contenders.

The Pelicans will get some more valuable experience in this year’s postseason but they may be 1-2 years away from being a true contender.
