4. Phoenix Suns

Heading into the NBA Trade Deadline, the narrative around the Phoenix Suns was that they were going to be extremely aggressive. And that’s exactly what they were when they acquired Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets. The Suns went all-in on this season and this core by essentially emptying out their asset cabinet for KD.

And if they can win a title in the next two years it will all have been worth it. And if they can remain healthy, the Suns will have as good of a chance as any other team in the league to win a title this season.

Is there a duo in the league that will be more difficult to stop than KD and Devin Booker? I find it hard to believe. The big question for the Suns this season is whether or not their supporting cast will be good enough to win a title. That falls on Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.
