NBA Rumors: Three teams that would make some sense for potential buyout candidate Russell Westbrook. 

Many expect the Utah Jazz to buy out the contract of Russell Westbrook soon and there have been quite of few teams that have an interest in acquiring his services. Westbrook has been unfairly labeled as many things during his career.

It has even gone far enough for him to be described as “a vampire who sucks all of the energy out of the room” to him being a bad teammate. While it’s crystal clear that he is no longer the MVP-caliber player he once was, it’s apparent that he still has something left in the tank.

Russell Westbrook just may need a fresh start

With the correct change of scenery, the right situation, and good coaching, Westbrook could find himself playing for a championship contender. Teams will be monitoring the situation to see how things play out but teams may very well make their decisions after the all-star break which is enough time to assess and gauge what is best for their respective teams.
