Is it possible that a Kevin Durant-Russell Westbrook reunion is in the works? Never say never in this ever-changing NBA landscape. As crazy as it seems, Westbrook joining the Suns could work if he continues to be humble and agrees to coming off the bench with the Suns’ second unit playing stifling defense and making plays while the starters get a breather. and even when he is on the floor with the starters, Westbrook can make the necessary plays to get them open.

Anytime Westbrook has thrived he has always been surrounded by players who can shoot the ball and that’s the reason he could fit the bill in Phoenix. That’s why he was criticized often as a member of the Lakers because it just wasn’t a good fit, especially with the Lakers lacking shooters.

Westbrook brings a lot of positives with him. He brings a different tempo than Chris Paul and could be dangerous finding Durant and Booker on the perimeter on fast breaks. Deandre Ayton could benefit the most from Westbrook’s playmaking ability the most on the pick-and-roll as a certified lob threat.

Not to mention, it would be exhilarating to watch Durant and Westbrook put aside their past differences and win a title together.
