Three reasons why the 3-point contest has now become the draw of NBA All-Star weekend. 

The NBA All-star weekend is always entertaining in the NBA season, regardless of what some may believe. While the Slam Dunk competition was once the pride and jewel of the weekend, it has become secondary to some other events during the season.

The All-Star weekend is full of different activities where fans get to see the stars shine bright going against one another. The All-Star game is always fun to watch, especially in the fourth quarter when everyone is done playing games and begins to play hard actually to win the game.

While the All-Star game is a spectacle, the days of stars and exciting dunkers entering the dunk contest have been little to none.
